SUBMITTED BY: Moredhel, 19 Feb 97
Moredhel submits this and requested that I get it online fairly quickly. I've made a quick automatic conversion to HTML, but haven't otherwise modified the file nor even proofread this, so please forgive any formatting gaffes. -ed

NOTE:it is the log of a LONG (it took almost 6 hours from the very beginning to the end, with little pauses) RP session about the facts that happened to the party leaving to Amon Thranduil in the last 2 hours before its leave and the facts that lead all the galads to quit the travel... many were involved and, more notable, both the Lady and the Lord....I've reported it has Moredhel lived it (of course), changing very little (just corrected some typos, wrote the connection scenes and changed some of my own expression to use the right one in your tongue...sometimes i make BIG mistakes, you know :) ). I really enjoyed it, hope the others did as well

SCENE: We are in the little camp made by the ones that are leaving to At just outside the gates of Caras Galadhon...the party should leave ina couple of hours...everyone is busy around.

Gallia enters the camp.

Gallia steps around a tent and looks around.

Moredhel is working on some packs, tieing the last ropes and all the stuff

Gallia approaches you from behind. "Would you care for some help with that,Mellon?"

Moredhel rises his head and smiles "GALLIA! oh my... i didn't dare to hope you would have come, leaving your fresh husband alone...oh, btw, I'm sorry I couldn't attend the wedding...well, I'm finished here, really...how fare you?"

Gallia smiles. "I am afraid I cannot stay long, or Laupilin will miss me. But I am well. You did not honestly believe I would let you slip out of the Woods without coming to wish you a safe trip, though, did you?"

Moredhel smiles "lot of people are doing it, and I'm avoiding some too...but I hoped you and a couple more would have come...and you did... I almost feel loved now" he chuckles "how was the ceremony? Mellondyn said me something, but an owl can't understand a lot of our rites i fear...he missed a lot"

Mellondyn hoots disappointed

Moredhel chuckles "oh, com'on Mellondyn" he says, patting the bird on the head

Gallia giggles. "The ceremony was lovely... it would have been better if you had been able to attend, but I know you would have come if it were possible."

Moredhel nods "yeah, but you know...it is said "never go to a wedding when there's a burden

in your heart"...it wouldn't have been fair with you and the other guests...." Moredhel's face darkens for a second, then his smile wins again "anyway... tell me some more! Which rite did you follow? the noldo, the sinda or the silvan one? It has been so long since last time i saw a wedding! bet the food was amazingly good!"

Gallia laughs. "Well, I prepared the food myself, and I do believe it was very popular..."

Moredhel yums "well...i remeber your pies well enough" he starts to laughs

Gallia continues, "As for the rite, as neither Laupilin nor I have our parents here to fulfil any of the usual ceremonies, we chose to simply gather our friends and announce our marriage before we were to be united. We did not follow any of the traditional rites, I am afraid." She sighs, a bit saddened at the thought of her parents missing her wedding.

Moredhel nods and seeing her sighing, tries to change subject "well...after all, it is not so important, the rite is just the shell for somethimg much more important, no?...It's a problem that i could have soon too, but i don't know still...In AT sometimes the king himself declares the couples marryed, acting like parents of both the bethroted"

A smile returns to Gallia's face and she nods. "I am sure when the time comes you and Taelyn will know in what manner you wish to be wed. Perhaps if I am fortunate I may have the chance to attend, as well."

Moredhel smiles "well...AMBASSADOR...who knows, you could be around there, or we could be back...and the time of waiting has not gone yet, and then probably we will wait still" his smile fades abruptly as his glance poses on a pack with a neatly painted "T" on it "of course, if we will ever make it to the halls"

Gallia places her hand on your shoulder. "I am confident you will have a safe journey, mellon. And I intend to see you both again one day."

Moredhel srhugs and smiles "might Elbereth hear your words and give us that safe journey we wish for, because if she didn't we could just run away I fear....and we can't run faster the an arrow"

Gallia says, "Yes, but we hope that the occasion will not arise for you to run from an arrow."

Moredhel chuckles "yeah, let's hope it...anyway...I don't know if I'll miss the place, but surely I'll miss some people"

Gallia looks quite surprised. "You don't know if you will miss Lothlorien?"

Moredhel 's smile fades again "no...oh, it's a beautiful place, of course...but even if the power of the lady is strong enough to hold external pains to enter it, it's not to avoid new one to arise inside...too many bad memories are tied with this place for me, and too many things happened in the 18 months i stayed here, and now silrosse's fading...the last drop..." he sighs "no, i don't know

if I'll miss your golden leaves..."

Gallia sighs, and nods as she looks around. "Yes, I can understand that...though this is my home and if evil befalls, or if unhappy events shall come to pass, I still would not be able to link them in my heart to this fair wood. Yet if it were not my home... perhaps..."

Moredhel shakes his head "no...it's me i fear... I left Amon Thranduil more then 60 years ago because only sad memories were left there for me...it's part of me, i can't stay in a place for a long period anymore...maybe it's my silvan part, maybe I begin to feel the weariness of this world, maybe I shouldn't have looked at the ties breaking on the sands of Mithlond or whatever" he sighs again "i dunno" but then he smiles again "but now, i feel i could live everywhere...you know..." he nods to the same pack with the "T" on it

Gallia laughs and pulls you away from your ropes and packs to give you a hug. "I will miss you, Moredhel. But I believe we shall meet again some day."

Moredhel chuckles and hugs her back "I'll miss you too...and might your words be true and our paths meet again, my...oh my...my LADY now" he laughs again

Gallia lets go of you. "It is time I leave, my friend. I do not wish to make Laupilin come in search of me."

Moredhel nods "i understand" he pauses, and get serious, searching the right words...but at last he smiles and just say "well, I've never been good in goodbyes, so let's just say namarie"

Gallia smiles. "Namarie, mellon. May your way be smooth and your journey uneventful."

Gallia pats your shoulder before reluctantly turning to leave.

Gallia leaves the camp.

JUST 5 MINUTES AFTER GALLIA LEFT THE CAMP, ALENALDAR ENTERS IT

Alenaldar enters the camp.

Alenaldar smiles, "Mae govannen, Moredhel."

Moredhel 's head appears from behind a tent. he looks surprised as he sees the elf in front of him, but smiles "Alenaldar! what do you do here?"

In that, Taelyn arrives from another pile of bags and waves to both

Alenaldar comes nearer to the camp, smiling, "I have decided to join you on your visit to Amon Thranduil."

Moredhel blinks "join us!? really!? wasn't you the one who sais "i will never ever leave this beautiful wood"? what made you change your mind?

Alenaldar nods, "Yes, I'm really coming. I've found something I love more than this beautiful wood..."

Alenaldar just smiles, "Hmmm, do I want to answer that?"

FROM OUTSIDE THE CAMP, A CLEAR VOICE ANNOUNCES "HERE I HAVE A MESSAGE FROM THE LADY TO THE GALADHRIM LEAVING FOR AMON THRANDUIL" ALL 3 OF LEAVE THE CAMP AND, AFTER THEY MET GALLIA AND TARINALAS,THEY GET CLOSER TO THE MESSANGER AND STAND SILENTLY, WAITING FOR THE MESSAGE

Frila says, "I have a message for the Galadhrim of the travelling party under Palanthos."

Frila says, "This message is as follows from the Lady of Lothlorien, my Lady whom I send messages for."

Moredhel stands, arms crossed, waiting for the message

Frila says, "The Lady sends this message only, "Beware of the passage to Amon Thranduil. Tis filled with danger and dread, do not tread so, for the Lady wishes you to stay in the City until such dangers do pass. Word has come to the Wood of these foul Yrch who make camp there, and she is ailing for your safety thus. She beseeches you to stay until such a time that we can be sure tis safe for travel.""

Frila adds to the message:

Kathalis comes across the bridge.

Moredhel passes an arm around taelyn's shoulders hearing the message, pulling her close

Frila says, "Twere you to go on this journey, here me thusly, your time might be overly extended in the Woods of Amon Thranduil for until that moment when the Lady of Lorien can have proof that the Woods of the home of the King are indeed safe for a trip home. And at this time, she gives you her warning of leaving, and will not bless this mission. If thee decide to leave now, we may not assist you in your time of need, nor will we leave to follow you hither, and we can only wait until we receive word that you have made it safe. Hear the Lady of the Wood! That is your message." Frila looks a bit ashamed, and colors as he finishes the message."

Frila bows and sighs, turning slowly from this disastrous mission and heads over the bridge, cowed and upset.

Gallia glances about, clearly disturbed.

Tarinalas thinks hard, "This is not good..."

Taelyn looks a triffle upset at the declaration.

Frila leaves, quietly.

Alenaldar stands still, trying to comprehend what she has just heard.

Frila walks towards the gates which swing silently open as he approaches, allowing him to pass through.

Moredhel frowns and turns to tarinalas "no good indeed, mellon tarinalas"

Taelyn leans on Mored for support and cannot believe what she just heard...

Tarinalas sighs unhappily, "This poses a problem. I know for a fact that I'm needed back in AT. I also know that we were expected back a long time ago. I fear for any delay as much as I fear yrch..."

Kathalis nods to the gathered elves as he walks past...he stops at the mention of yrch....

Taelyn smiles at Kathalis.

Gallia sighs. "If you need an audience with the Lady, Tarinalas, I will see what I can do for you. Though I do not believe she will change her mind and allow the Galadrhim to leave."

Tarinalas sighs, "Nor do I. She didn't precisely forbid them from leaving, she just said it was pretty much doomed to failure and wouldn't send any aid... not that I was expecting any..."

Gallia nods. "She did not grant her blessing on the journey. For a Galadrhim, that is nearly the same as forbiding."

Taelyn doesn't want to cause any problems but looks understandably upset. She says, "So, basically, if we leave, we aren't really welcome here anymore." A small frown crosses her face as she considers this possiblity.

Lendalas comes across the bridge.

Lendalas travels from the bridge whistling softly under his breath. He stops to nod to those gathered here.

Kathalis walks towards the gates which swing silently open as he approaches, allowing him to pass through.

Gallia shakes her head. "Taelyn, you will always be welcome here. She would not exile you from the Wood."

Tarinalas hmms, "I should hope not!"

Lendalas stops suddenly as he hears Gallia's words, "Eh? What's that? What be ye saying there Ambassador?"

Taelyn looks doubtful at this and sends her gaze up toward the highest Mallorn in the center of the Wood. She frowns again.

Gallia says, "The Lady has a great love for all the elves under her care." She turns to Lendalas as if to solicit his agreement. "She would not ask you to stay if she did not fear for your safety."

Lendalas raises an eyebrow, "Um... aye. I must agree with you, Ambassador... from what I know, our Lady feels that travelling outside of the wood is rather dangerous at any time."

Gallia steps over near Lendalas. "... ... ... ... ... ... ... that ... ... ... ... ... ... on ... ... ... ... not ... ... for ... ... ... ... ... ..."

Kathalis comes through the gates.

Kathalis nods quietly to all the gathered elves as he walks past...

Lendalas looks to Gallia a bit startled, "Not grant leave of aide should... evil befall the party?" He looks back to Tarinalas with an almost questioning look in his eye, "And ye still will leave?" He continues, "I was out upon a scouting mission a few days ago... and we almost were over taken by a great olog and a pack of yrch..."

Gallia nods to Lendalas quietly, looking very disturbed.

Taelyn turns to Moredhel and whispers, "I do want to go still, you know...But I really don't

fancy the idea of suicide"

Lendalas pauses, "And I was with the finest of the Guard, packed for stealth..."

Moredhel replyes something whispering in Taelyn's ear

Tarinalas nods, "You all might want to re-think your coming with us. I at least have to go on reguardless. You however do not..."

Taelyn looks questioningly at Moredhel.

Moredhel 's jaw contracts and his eyes start burn as he thinks about what to do

Gallia sighs.

Taelyn says to Moredhel, "When would it be possible to get a large enough party together again is the only thing I'm concerned about...I mean, if we don't go now, we may not have the chance for a VERY long time...on the other hand, dying would completely negate any chance too, so I'm stuck..."

Moredhel embraces Taelyn tight, as he continues to whisper her something

Lendalas looks to Tarinalas, "Are ye sure ye would still be going, Tarinalas? There is a good chance that ye would not make it..."

Moredhel whispers to Taelyn, in a too loud voice "well...I could even wait here with you...i already

felt unconfortable...and now even more, but i could with you at my side....and i can't bear the

image of you being killed"

Lendalas sighs again, "Please consider it, Tarinalas. Four of us were nearly spotted, and we were on foot in dense covering..."

Palanthos comes out of the Elvish camp.

Taelyn replies to Moredhel "I could not bear such a thing either, love, but, we also have to look at the practical...we can't just sacrifice ourselves to the yrch..."

Palanthos steps out of the group of elves near the gates. He looks around him at all the people and smiles. "Mae govannen, mellyn." He then sees Tarinalas and walks over to him. "Is all ready for our departure? Forgive my tardiness..."

Moredhel nods to taelyn and whispers "probaly, we should stay...."

Kathalis walks southward back out onto the bridge.

Gallia withdraws from the group to give them leave to discuss their plans and ake their own decisions.

Taelyn says, "Perhaps someone should enlighten Palanthos."

Gallia walks southward back out onto the bridge.

Moredhel turns to tarinalas "up to you, mellon"

Palanthos as Tarinalas doesn't answer him, he looks to Moredhel. "Are all of those coming from Lorien ready to depart, Moredhel? I should wish to leave as soon as we may..."

Moredhel ums "well, actually, as we said, there have been some news....

Tarinalas shakes his head to Palan, "Something came up..."

Taelyn says, "The Lady is worried for our safety on the trip from Lorien to Amon Thranduil..."

Moredhel turns to Alenaldar, who has been really silent untill now, and whispers "well, what are you going to do?""

Palanthos raises his eyebrows. "What is this news?"

Tarinalas sighs, "Galadriel refused to bless the journey..."

Palanthos looks at Tarinalas with a blank stare. All he says is: "Why?"

Tarinalas hmms, "It's extremely dangerous and she's worried for the safety of our group."

Alenaldar turns to Moredhel, shaking her head and whispering "I just don't know."

Moredhel choughs slighlty and turns to Tarilanas and Palanthos "forgive us, mellyn, but we under Lady's rule have to discuss the matter a bit..would you excuse us for a while?"

Palanthos nods to Moredhel and turns back to Tarinalas with a sigh. "More problems..."

Tarinalas nods, "Come'n Palan, lets move down the bridge a bit..."

Tarinalas walks southward back out onto the bridge.

Palanthos follows Tarinalas towards the bridge.

ALENALDAR, TAELYN AND MOREDHEL WALKS INSIDE THE GATES AND STOPS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GREAT STAIRWAY, WHERE THEY MEET THE MESSANGER OF THE LADY

Frila nods.

Frila says, "I shall leave you in peace."

Taelyn says, "Thank you Frila."

Frila begins to climb up the Great Stairway.

Moredhel sits on the second step of the great stairway and invites the others to come closer "now..what do we do?"

Taelyn sits beside her beloved and says, "Well, it is dangerous, of that much we can be certain...What we must ascertain is HOW dangerous..."

Alenaldar walks over to Moredhel, "I don't know, how dangerous is the trip?"

>From the opposite side of the Gate, Lendalas walks towards the gates which swing silently open as he approaches, allowing him to pass through.

Lendalas passes through the gates, and comes to join you here.

Moredhel nods "well...if the lady cared to stop us, it must be VERY dangerous" he adds , murning, "probably too much"

Taelyn waves "Mae govanen again, Len

Lendalas passes through the gate and moves towards the group. He nods his head, "Are ye discussing your plan of action?"

Taelyn says, "Yes, we are...we're trying to ascertain how dangerous the trip would be..."

Alenaldar glances up at Lendalas, "again,Mae govanen," before turning back to Moredhel, "You mean we shouldn't go?"

Moredhel says, "actually, if all of us would have armors and a good training, it would be different...but among us, I'm the only with a minimum of pratice in handling a weapon...and we are all naked in front of a sword"

Taelyn turns to Lendalas and asks, "In your opinion, how dangerous would it be for us, Director?"

Lendalas pauses and nods, "It's quite dangerous. The last time I ventured to Amon Thranduil, I was almost killed by a yrch ambush. And at that point, travel was much safer than it is now with the yrch hordes rolling through the Greenwood."

Taelyn hmmms as she turns the possibilities over in her head. "What are our chances, unarmed and unarmored...even with other protecting us?"

Lendalas sighs to himself, "And that is why I have to convince them not to leave... they will be killed."

Lendalas speaks gravely, "I was with a group of 60 elves last time. They were all slaughtered."

Moredhel nods slowly to lendalas and then turns to Taelyn , pulling her near "now that i have all the infos, i have to say low chances...very low" he pauses "TOO low..."

Alenaldar eyes grow dark at Lendalas's words.

Taelyn says, "I would conclude that it is unwise for us to go until we can all be trained in some form of weapon..."

Lendalas takes a deep breath, "Armed warriors of Amon Thranduil... it didn't help us very much..."

Moredhel sighs "well, time to take a decision...." he turns to Taelyn "and we are going to stay, my love, if you have nothing to add"

Moredhel turns to Alenaldar and adds "and you should too, my friend, i think"

Taelyn says, "I agree with Mored..."

Taelyn looks sad at the idea of not leaving but likes the idea of dying even less. She gulps down the huge knot that formed in her throat and fells semi-relieved.

Moredhel kisses taelyn's forehead "well, at last i have to fight only against myself for this decision". he smiles

Alenaldar nods numbly, "Aye, I suppose it is too dangerous to travel."

Moredhel 's eyes burn in a controlled rage as he stands "well, we have to tell them, i suppose... come, if you want..otherwise I'll be the ambassador"

Taelyn smiles at the small group of Galadhrim that surrounds her.

Taelyn says, "It will be all right, I think."

Taelyn smiles at Moredhel and says, "Well, lets tell them."

>From the opposite side of the Gate, Palanthos comes across the bridge.

>From the opposite side of the Gate, Tarinalas comes across the bridge.

Palanthos walks through the gates and sees the party from Lorien standing there. To all of them in general he asks, "May I go to speak with the Lady Galadriel, mellyn? Before we depart..."

Moredhel tries to enter the conversation and announce the decision, but he stops as he see the chance of a meeting with The Lady and the Lord

Tarinalas waves to the Galads as he follows Palan...

Taelyn says, "There shouldn't be a problem with that."

Taelyn looks in sympathy at the two elves.

Palanthos says, "Would you please lead me to her court, if thou wouldn't mind? I know not where it is..."

Lendalas nods to Tarinalas and Palanthos, "I shall walk with ye, friends." He turns back to the Galads, "We'll be back."

Moreadhel says, "can we join? After all, we are involved a bit in it, don't you think?"

Palanthos nods to Lendalas and follows him. Upon hearing Moredhel's question he turns and answers. "If ye wish ye may come, mellon. I know not if you shall regret that decision or not..."

Moredhel smiles "I've done things worse then this in the last 10 centuries"

Lendalas nods slightly, "If ye wish, Moredhel."

Palanthos laughs slightly to Moredhel and follows Lendalas.

Taelyn says, "Well, go on...destiny awaits..."

THE WHOLE PARTY MOVES AND CLIMB THE STAIR UNTILL THE GREAT TREE...THEY ARE ALL ALLOWED IN THE ROYAL CHAMBER WHERE GALADRIEL AND CELEBORN ARE BOTH PRESENT

Celeborn stands from his quiet repast with his wife as the crowd enters.

Moredhel bows in front of the lady and the in fron of the king

Celeborn eye's with interest the visitors from Thranduil's realm.

Palanthos looks around him in wonder at the beauty of all, including the Lord and Lady of the Goldenwood. He steps forward a few steps and bows gracefully to Celeborn and Galadriel.

Galadriel glances over her shoulder at the massive party of Quendi entering her hall, and she moves over to sit on her throne.

Lendalas steps forward and bows before the Lord and Lady, "M'Lord, M'Lady... let me present to you, Tarinalas and Palanthos o Amon Thranduil..."

Galadriel nods softly, smiling at all gathered.

Palanthos, at Lendalas's introduction, says, "Thank you greatly for the honor of your presence."

Tarinalas bows deeply though a bit nervously. He glances at Palan...

Celeborn nods quietly to Tarinalas and Palanthos. "Mae Govannen and well met, cousins from Amon Thranduil. Pray tell us what councel it is you seek form us?" He moves to his throne aside the Lady.

Lendalas stands slowly and takes a step back to let Palanthos and Tarinalas forward.

Galadriel lifts her chin at Palanthos and Tarinalas, and nods. "Well met again, mellon o'Amon Thranduil." Her eyes flicker a bit, and she waits patiently.

Galadriel glances at Tarinalas and motions him forward, smiling.Tarinalas looks around like he's trapped before stepping forwards, "M'Lady, I, WE, got your message..." He coughs and glances helplessly back at Palan...

Celeborn leans forward in hi throne to hear the quietly mumbled words.

Moredhel steps forward

Galadriel nods, "Aye, indeed, Frila is a dependable messenger."

Galadriel sees Mordehel and nods to him, politely. She has no outward expressions, and remains the same.

Palanthos looks to Galadriel. "Yes...We received your message. I do wish you would forgive me in your anger, m'lady, though I know not why you were. May I ask of this?"

Celeborn looks thoughtfully between the guests and the Galadhrim diplomats, but speaks not a word as his wife replies.

Galadriel says, "I do remember a night, a while ago now, that you and I spoke of your message to the Wood."

Galadriel stops and waits, to gather all the attention in the Hall.

Palanthos speaks not in reply, waiting silently.

Aylandi arrives from below.

Galadriel says, "To my understand, mellon, this message was thus directly given to me and my Lord from your King himself. This message twas that your homewoods, and your city were then besieged by foul vermin, those who are called Yrch. That the Woods themselves were seething with these beings, and that we should be warned that they were coming this way. This I did hear from

you, and I did take heed."

Galadriel says, "And I thank thee, that this message was delievered so deftly and courageously."

Aylandi stops to curtsey quietly to the Lord and Lady, then takes her customary position in the Chamber.

Galadriel says, "Indeed, I have not had a chance to take action upon this myself, but intend to in the very near future. And I continue, thusly;"

Palanthos turns not away from the Lady as he hears the officer speak another name. He replies to Galadriel. "I thank thee, m'lady. Any word of kindness from thee is worth more than any treasure could ever be worth."

Galadriel nods, smiling at Palanthos.

Celeborn listens quietly to his wife, taking note of Palanthos' reply.

Galadriel says, "I did indeed beseech you at that time, and I did hear from you then that the King himself had summoned Ambassador Lairelin to travel back with you? Is this not true?"

Celeborn awaits Palanthos' confirmation.

Galadriel says, "At that time, I had mentioned to you my reservations about one of my folk travelling with you into the Woods of Mirkwood, and expressed my displeasure at the summoning of one so important at a time of extreme danger. Indeed, I might not have made myself clear enough, but I do remember mentioning this unto you. Thus, you can imagine my surprise to hear that the Ambassador has indeed secured a ride with your travel party?"

Palanthos nods. "Aye, that is true, m'lady. Though as I told thee then, 'twas an invitation, not a summoning..."

Aylandi finally speaks up, "My Lady, I gave Lairelin the leave to go, but I never received any opinion from you on this matter and knew not you were against her going."

Eriant Patrol stirs nervoulsy as Palanthos banters semantics with the Lady.

Palanthos says, while the Lady is still speaking "And 'twas the Lady Aylandi who I spoke with on the matter and she asked Lairelin a final time whether or naught she wished to go, knowing the dangers of the land."

Galadriel smiles, her eyes flashing with the words, she still retains her demenor and never once expresses displeasure in feeling or gesture as she continues, "My intentions were to not have the Ambassador come with thee at this time. And those plans have been changed. Do not take this as displeasure, as I do not at this time, order my people around unjustly. I do realize that there might have been miscommunication in the matter alone, as I do not believe you would belay my direct wish.

Galadriel frowns as she is interrupted as she speaks. She stops speaking then, to let Palanthos finish.

Celeborn turns his attention to Palanthos as well, awaiting his completetion.

Galadriel raises an eyebrow and waits.

The air in the Hall remains still, as everyone seems to be holding their breath.

Palanthos says, "Aye, that I would not, m'lady. I was told not of any wish to keep the Ambassador Lairelin here longer and have her travel to our realm at a later time."

Galadriel looks surprised a bit at this.

Palanthos says, "I had heard from the Lady Althea that this was to happen, but knew not 'twas your command, m'lady."

Galadriel remains still, her face returning to the regal mask it was before.

Galadriel says, "this all does not matter, mellon, as my intentions are still my own. I am not displeased with thee as you may have thought. I do wish you a safe journey at this time if you are still intended on leaving this night."

Palanthos says, "If the Ambassador is to stay longer, as are your wishes, I have no conflict with those m'lady. For as I said, 'twas only an invitation of kindness that our King asked her to come."

Celeborn nods quietly in agreement to his wife's councel.

Galadriel says, "The Lord and I shall make that decision in the time to come, Palanthos. I entreat thee to stay and hold until this decision is made."

Celeborn nods, turning to Palanthos. "Assuming such a delay is acceptable to your leige?"

Palanthos nods. "We do intend to journey this night to our realm. Though we shall stay until your decision is made, if you will it, m'lady. Your blessing is the greatest gift we could receive on this journey home.

Tarinalas frowns thoughtfully.

Celeborn stands, motioning to Moredhel. "If you would escort our guest to the Telain below, the Lady and I will councel now with Minister Aylandi to arrive upon some decison. You will be sent for presently."

Lendalas nods and moves towards Palanthos, "Gentleman? Please follow me."

Galadriel glances at the Galadhrim assembled at the other end of the Hall looking at them thoughtfully. She remains quiet while her Lord speaks.

Palanthos nods and bows to both the Lady and the Lord, turning to follow

Lendalas. "I thank thee once again, Lord and Lady. Namarie until we speak again!"

Lendalas glances to Tarinalas, "Sir?"

Palanthos looks to Tarinalas, motioning him to follow.

Lairelin arrives from below.

Celeborn returns to his throne, motioning Aylandi to approach the dias.

Palanthos climbs down the ladder.

Galadriel +whispers to Celeborn, "... wish ... ... ... Mordehel ... ... ..."

Lairelin tries to slip in quietly.

Tarinalas nods and considers what has been said as he follows Lendalas, "Namarie!" He speaks, with a final bow to the Lord and Lady.

Tarinalas climbs down the ladder.

Galadriel leans over and whispers in her husband's ear.

Moredhel bows and turns to leave too, following Celeborn's order

Galadriel raises a hand for Moredhel to stay.

Moredhel stops, frowning slightly....Taelyn and Alenladar stands behind him too.

Aylandi steps up to the platform, remaining a respectful distance from the thrones.

Celeborn considers carefully his wife's question before replying back to her with a single nod.

Celeborn turns to address Aylandi. "Minsiter...your advice upon Lairelin's journey to Amon Thranduil is?"

Galadriel turns her eyes towards Aylandi as well.

Aylandi answers carefully, "I have none, really, my Lord. Before, I said that she may go, but that was unknowing of several things which have since been brought to my attention in a rather abrupt fashion, and I have not had the chance to contemplate them in proper fashion yet."

Celeborn nods, listening carefully. "Regarding the political disposition then, of our nations, our advantage in sending Lairelin is exactly what in this request?"

Aylandi says, "Merely that we need some contact in Thranduil's realm, sir, and nothing more. I should not have thought of sending her had she not received an invitation from the King himself, which I told her she could choose to accept or reject. She appeared to have chosen to accept it, and so when Palanthos approached me I had no reason to doubt the voyage."

Galadriel frowns as she hears Palanthos's name.

Aylandi glances, a touch of nervousness gracing her otherwise calm features, at Galadriel, and adds, "My Lady, had I known you did not wish it I surely would not have granted the permission, but none of this reached my ear."

Celeborn nods. "It would be a valuable placement, then, to have the King's ear. The risk of her safety though is of paramount concern. For there is great report, from Eagle and Elf, of Yrch activity upon Greenwoods' boughs."

Galadriel nods to Aylandi, "Tis seems I trusted one who should not have been trusted at that time. Tis no concern of yours Minister, and I do give you my humble apology for this."

Aylandi nods to Celeborn, "Of which I am aware, but I assumed from what had been told to me that Greenwood's troubles had ceased for a time. I perhaps unjustifiedly used Palanthos' offer of escort as proof of this; for that haste I apologize as well."

Galadriel leans over to her husband and asks, "Husband, may I have your ear a moment?"

Celeborn laughs! "Not since the day of the lembas fires in the kitchins of the city have I heard so much apologizing in the Royal Hall!" He laughs out loud, breaking a tension with sudden ease. "It gladdens me we all are actually in agreement."

Galadriel clears her throat and waits patiently for Celeborn to attend.

Celeborn raises a hand towards Aylandi as he pays attention to his wife's request.

Aylandi half-smiles at Celeborn, then looks away while the two converse in private.

Galadriel whispers to Celeborn, "... me, my ... ... ... seems that ... ... are ... ... ... and leaving ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Lairelin. ... ... ... seem to understand ... ... ahead, ... ... message ... ... and ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... a ... not just ... ... ... ... ... ... others ... ... ... council ... ... this ... they ... ... ... ... wish, ... ... ... all consequences. ... ... ... ... making them ... ... ... ... ..."

Celeborn frowns listening to the news from his wife. "Those are dangerous precendents, I see."

Celeborn looks from his wife back to Aylandi. "The details are clearer to me now, and I can see again that minions of the Dark Lord again seperate us from our cousins in Greenwood. I cannot feign surprise, though my concern is ever peaked.

Celeborn says, "Pray, call forward for the Lady thr Thranduil messengers that I might speak to them of our decision.""

Moredhel stands with his arms crossed on his chest, probably waiting to know why he has been stopped, but a neutral expression on his face

Aylandi nods to Celeborn and steps lightly away from the dais and walks over to the door.

Galadriel +whispers to Celeborn, "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... others, ... love?"

Lendalas arrives from below.

Tarinalas arrives from below.

Palanthos arrives from below.

Aylandi arrives from below.

Celeborn stands from his throne as the guests arrive. "I thank you for your patience."

Palanthos walks up the ladder and stands silently at the wall, waiting to be called forward.

Palanthos says, "I thank thee for having us, m'lord."

Lairelin stands quietly to the side, watching and listening to all that is going on.

Seeing as the matters discussed no longer directly concern her, Taelyn curtsies to The Lady and Lord.

Alenaldar curties as well and follows close behind Taelyn.

Tarinalas stands next to Palanthos with the worried look he had before replaced by his more normal smile.

Celeborn speaks to fill the entire room. "What we have decided affects all of your with plans towards Amon Thranduil this dat."

Aylandi moves over to stand by Lairelin.

Lendalas bows formally again and moves off to the side. He stops next to Lairelin.

Palanthos silently listens, waiting for the Lord to continue.

Tarinalas nods silently.

Celeborn turns to look at his wife as he speaks to the crowd. "As hads been asked of you before, the Lady and I cannot assure the safety of your travels back to your home." He turns his gaze to the visitors. "As you know, the hoards of the Dark One clog your homeland as swapmgrass will clog a steram. For you to return home in your legie's hour of need is brave indeed. For Galadhrim

diplomats, though, it would be foolhardy.""

Celeborn looks to Palanthos and Tarinalas in particular. "I bid you to return, with haste, to adress the safety of your families. Upon the days of the new year, then, when the Yrch hoardes typically retreat to their mountain creves...

Palanthos nods again, a look of knowing coming to his eyes.

Celeborn says, "...upon the turn of the new year, then, I invite your return to the Woods of the Lady, that we might know of our heorism, and our diplomats might respect the wishes of his invitation.""

Celeborn's features grow quite serious as he concludes. "But while the danger to life and limb awaits our diplomats as surely as the hospitaltiy of Thranduil does, I cannot willfully agree to permitting the travel of Galadhrim without Galadhrim arms."

Celeborn returns to his wife's side as he concludes.

Galadriel nods to Celeborn's declaration and sighs softly, at what the news means to all.

Tarinalas bows his head silently at Celeborn's words, yet glances up quickly at his last sentance...

Galadriel adds in, "Tis true then that your lands are endangered with yrch? Tell us once again your message from King Thranduil that you have given to me, so that our Minister can hear."

Galadriel smiles at Celeborn, her eyes soft as she hopes he forgives the question.

Palanthos nods and then begins his tale. "I was sent to tell of the yrch hordes that have retaken Mirkwood...Cutting trees and killing all who get in their way. Our city has not been besieged as of yet, though we know not how long it shall be...And the yrch have begun to move southward. Our liege thought they may attempt to attack the Goldenwood and sent me to warn thee of the coming

yrch...

Lendalas stiffens slightly as he listens.

Celeborn says, "Surely then Thranduil's councel to us would be to fortify our borders, to gather strength as opposed to diluting it as would a diplomatic envoy into a Yrch invested woods do."

Aylandi watches the whole proceedings with little real reaction; but there is a slight cast to her face, noticeable only to the most scrupulous of eyes.

Palanthos nods to Celeborn. "Aye, m'lord. I'm sure that 'twas why he would ask us to escort her back to our realm, as we were returning anyway."

You paged Alenaldar with 'i'll say nothing about you with tar present..and nothing at all if you so wish'.

Tarinalas adds to Palan's report, "There have also been scattered reports of one the yrch call the Watcher. A scouting mission by our Tarkano Rhuarc leads us to believe that this fiend is none other than one of the Nine... a Nazgul.

Celeborn says, "Surely none other than a Ringwraith could command a large battalion of Yrch hoard. It is dark news but not unexpected."

Galadriel sits up in her seat and frowns, hearing the dark name in her Wood for the first time in a very long time.

Moredhel stands apart, quiete, perfectly still

Palanthos nods to Tarinalas. "Forgive me...I wished not to mention it in your halls..."

Galadriel frowns.

Celeborn dismisses this suspicison with a wave. "The Light of the Lady shines far too brightly upon these woods for us to fear the hollow echoes of our enemies legions. Worry not that you have darkened this evening, fear more for your own fear."

Tarinalas nods, "What I have heard however seems to place this menace in the area surrounding Dol Guldur. This would be a lot closer to here than the last known position of the yrch. Forgive me for mentioning it, but I felt you had to know."

Celeborn nods. "I thank you for the news. But as the Anduin flows, there will be seperation between Dol Goldur and the Wood fo the Lady Galadriel."

Celeborn frowns. "Thye more news is shared, though, the more reasons you remove from me why I should allow unmanaged the flow of Galadhrim to the boughs of Greenwood."

Palanthos nods. "But from what you have told us, m'lord, you shall send a party of your people to our realm soon, anyway, so why not send them now, when they may travel with those who know the realm of Mirkwood and Amon Thranduil?

Celeborn shakes his head. "I must not have been clear. Not until the light of spring shines upon Rhovanion could I consider a legion of Galadhrim depature to diluite our strenght here. Sure,y , by your own councel, it would be folly.

Celeborn looks to Palanthos for agreement.

Palanthos nods. "Yes, 'twould be folly to send them when you need your own here, m'lord..."

Galadriel glances at Celeborn and sighs, softly. "Tis our decision, as it stands. Folly as it may be, I must concur with my husband at this time and deny any passage through the Mirkwood for our folk at this time until you can send back word that the way is safe and clear for our people."

Celeborn says, "Your departure, though, is necessary and immenent. A depature of *any* Galadhrim is surely not.""

Celeborn leans back into his throne as Galadriel summarizes his opinion.

Galadriel smiles and calls Moredhel closer to the thrones, knowing this means a great deal to him.

Moredhel steps forward and bows his head to both the queen and the king

Galadriel says, "Do you understand Moredhel that we only do what is best for you and your beloved?"

Palanthos says nothing and waits for the Lord and Lady to speak again.

Galadriel sighs softly, truly sad at the turn of events, "If not for the dangerous way you would tread, my husband, the Lord and I would fully support your journey to the Halls of Thranduil. It seems the decision is taken out of our hands at this time, but do believe that as soon as Palanthos can send word that the way is indeed secure, we will do everything we can in our power to speed you on your way. As for the others, the decision stands up until we can be sure the way is safe. I would not have innocents entering in any realm of danger that we can not control. Indeed, we would not be true rulers of our people if we were to let you go. Tis with heavy heart that I lay this decree

upon the Wood.

Moredhel rises his head and says with a clear, respectfull but firm voice "your highness, I've been a guest in your wood for almost 18 months... now, and with all the respect that a guest must have for his host, i have to say that an elf should be left free to decide for his own life. We had already

decided to stay here, but i must add that my heart will not be happy for this...I thank you for your interest in our safety, but..."he can't continue

Galadriel says, "I hear and understand what you say, Moredhel. And your request

has not gone unregistered."

Kestrae arrives from below.

Alandil arrives from below.

Celeborn listens to Moredhel's reply with interest.

Kestrae moves quietly into the room, for one looking quite dignified in a dress. She smiles up at Alandil as she finally releases his arm, so that they might move toward their places.

Moredhel shakes his head and stops talking for a while then he adds "I had a request then, if I have to stay against my will"

Galadriel says, "Hold then a moment whilst my husband and I confer."

Galadriel stands and walks off the platform, holding her hand out for Celeborn to follow her.

Alandil inclines his head to the officer in acknowledgement, entering the hall at a stately place with Kestrae on his arm. Pausing to allow her a release, he smiles down at her as they shift their direction towards the right foot of the dais.

Celeborn frowns watching Moredhel having difficulty with his fealty to te Lady's wishes.

Celeborn stands slowly, moving to his wife side, a noticeable tension furrowing

his borw.

Galadriel heads east, pushing aside the curtain.

Celeborn heads east, pushing aside the curtain.

Moredhel,as the Lady and the Lord have left, turns to Tarinalas and Palanthos and says "well, seems we can't come...."

Kestrae settles gracefully into her seat, her expression clearly curious as she turns to inspect those standing about.

Palanthos nods. "Aye, it seems that way..." He sees the visible sorrow in Moredhel's eyes.

Tarinalas nods, "I'm sorry. I did what I could but I'm not a diplomat by nature. "

Moredhel nods, umming "well, probably it's better this way, after all" it is obvious that he's not so sure as he'd like to seem

Althea arrives from below.

Tarinalas bows his head, "You'll make it to AT though. Even if I have to come back in the spring and try again!"

Althea slips in, looking surpised to see so many people

Moredhel smiles "it's not so important Tar... who knows? maybe what is left of my family has already gone in these years...only kahalia i know that is still there", but his eyes are sad

Althea spots Palanthos and Tarinalas and smiles at them "are you leave now mellyn?

Alandil settles down next to Kestrae after remaining on his feet for a while, scanning the faces of those assembled with just a hint of detached curiosity.Tarinalas nods to Althea. "It would seem that way."

Palanthos nods. "Aye, ye shall. If I must return with tidings of good, I shall hope to be with the escort that brings thee, Moredhel."

Moredhel nods

Palanthos looks to Althea. "Aye, m'lady. Though it seems we shall be the only ones...Save Malon and Daelwyn."

Althea sighs an nods "I have greatly enjoyed having you here..what? is Lairelin not going?

Moredhel breaks in with a bitter voice "no...no galads are allowed to leave..and i will never leave without Taelyn"

Kestrae listens with interest as the others speak. She shifts in her seat to look up into Alandil's face, her look questioning but remains quiet.

Althea looks startled "I see..has there been another yrch attack?

Palanthos shakes his head. "The Lord and Lady have decreed this. Though I thank thee and have enjoyed being here with thee in my short visit..."

Palanthos says, "Nay, but they deem it too dangerous with the tidings I have brought for any to leave or surrender guards to escort them."

Alandil purses his lips and leans over towards Kestrae, speaking softly as the faint light shimmers about his raiment. "<Sindarin> ... ... ... ... ... ... trouble with ... ... ..."

Althea smiles at Palanthos "and may you return swiftly mellon. It has been a great treat having you here

Airiavas arrives from below.

Kestrae nods as Alandil speaks, leaning over to respond quietly, "<Sindarin> ... ... ... ... ... ... you ... of this ..."

Moredhel walks nervously in the waiting

Alandil makes a neutral face, accepting a proferred goblet of wine from a server. He goes on in quiet tones. "... ... ... ... ... enough ... say ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... and ... ... holding ... ... somehow." A grin.

Palanthos waits silently for the Lord and Lady to return. After a moment he looks to Althea. "Do they still intend to send a party to our realm ere long?"

Airiavas enters the room and stops dead in his tracks, as he has obviously stumbled into something he wasn't expecting to find. He tries to hide as inconspicuously as possible in a nice out-of-the-way corner of the room, and stands, politely holding his hands behind his back.

Tarinalas sighs, "You know they won't until spring Palan!"

Althea looks curiously over at Alandil and Kes before turning to address

Palan's question "I can not say..it depends on many things

Galadriel enters gracefully, her ankle bracelet jingling prettily.

The Eriant Patrol comes to attention as Lady Galadriel enters, even before their Commanding Officer can speak a command.

Moredhel musr to himself "and how long should we stay...amonth? a year? forever? damn, I didn't miss Amon Thranduil so much, but now...."

Kestrae raises a delicate eyebrow as she turns back to look over the gathered elves. She shakes her head and quietly whispers back to Alandil, "... ... ... ... ... with the ... then?"

The Commanding Officer of the Eriant Patrol, lounging at his usual spot near Celeborn's throne, spies Celeborn entering and yells out, "Tara!" and snaps to attention with the rest of his Patrol.

Moredhel stops immediatly and goes back to his standing still position

Celeborn moves quickly to his throne, the weight of a decision upon his brow.

Palanthos sees Celeborn and Galadriel return from their talk and he waits silently for their judgment.

Galadriel stands near the entrance of the private chambers and collects herself before she moves to her throne.

Althea turns around at the shout from the patrol and Bows deeply as the Lord and lady enter the room

Alandil shifts in his seat to proper attention as the Lord and Lady return, and speaks behind a hand to Kestrae, quiet. "... ... ... ... ... It ... ... your ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... reasons ... know ..."

Celeborn motions for Moredhel to approach the dias. He steps down to the floorway beneath, allowing the Lady the dias alone.

Kestrae turns to watch the Lord and Lady with interest, though she spares a moment to look toward Alandil and lauch softly before turning back to the goings on.

Moredhel steps forwards

Galadriel glows softly in her throne, her face calm, yet her eyes emit an ancient sadness.

Althea looks curiously at Moredhel wondering what is going on

Alandil places a delicate hand over Kestrae's and gives her a sly, sidelong grin while watching the proceedings with a calm, detached curiosity. The light of the lanterns flickers eerily about his brow, and reflects like pooled moonlight in his dark eyes.

Celeborn's arms tense as his powerful voice quiety thunders. "You have spoken, Moredhel, that your wishes are in opposiion to the wishes of the Lady."

Moredhel stands still, wordless and firm.

Galadriel places her hands on the arms of the throne she sits upon. She looks down on the proceedings quietly.

Tarinalas tenses as he awaits the decision concerning Moredhel.

Celeborn says, "I ask you now, which path shall you follow?", without the merest expression of anger or anxiety, he awaits Moredhel's response."

Palanthos remains silent, listening to the words of the Lord and Lady.

Althea shifts her weight from foot to foot as she looks between Celeborn and Moredhel

Moredhel speaks slowly "which path? And which paths lay in front of me?"

Kestrae tenses slightly herself, small hands moving along the fabric of her skirt as she listens.

Alandil's darkly shining eyes track the conversation from speaker to speaker as it goes on, one hand plaintively knuckling his beardless chin. Pursing his lips in thoughtful observation, he simply watches and listens.

Celeborn says, "The paths are clear. One is to the fealty of the Lady, the one which has sheltered you here in Lorien since summer past. The other is to Amon Thranduil this night with our guests, that you shall henceforth pledge your loyalty to Thranduil in his halls."

Alandil raises a single eyebrow, notable for the stark austerity of such a singular gesture.

Celeborn watches Moredhel carefully with his decision.

Moredhel bows his head slightly to the right "With all the respect, it makes no sense... fealty doesn't mean that my mind mustn't have any other desire then the ones of someone else...and if my loyalty has to be proven -and it is, forgive me,ridicolous- then it goes to Taelyn in the first place... I can't leave her behind...nor, if allowed, I would bring her in a travel you think so dangerous

A look of understanding passes over Althea's face and is gone as she quickly schools her features to stillness

Galadriel raises her eyebrows and remains silent.

Alandil draws a sharp intake of breath at what, surely, he must see as audacity. His eyes flicker to Kestrae in shock and surprise at Moredhel's speech.

Kestrae looks up at Alandil quickly, then back to the scene unfolding before them. She leans forward slightly, her attention held firmly there.

A look of concern and intense curiostity washes over Airiavas' face as he realizes the gravity of the situation. He crosses his arms and leans back against the wall, rapidly becoming absorbed in the dialogue between Moredhel and the Lord Celeborn.

Alandil turns his gaze to the crux of the discussion... Celeborn himself.

Celeborn summarizes. "Your loyalty then is for the elf-maiden Taelyn, Bard of the Gweth Glirdain. Were she to travel this night against the wishes of the Lady, you would follow her. I ask now, would you lead her?"

Alandil clears his throat and looks quickly to Celeborn, obviously rueing the fact that he must interrupt but politely doing so, in any case. "Milord, a word? Taelyn is under the aegis of House Arduril..."

Celeborn nods to the information from Indiri Alandil, watching Moredhel continuously.

Moredhel 'e eyes now burn after that a part of him has fully awaken. He opens his mouth, to close it immediatly .Then he opens it again and speaks "My liege, you are asking me if i could lead her in dangers that could bring her away from this world and away from ME....it's not a fair question...but I would, given the right means...but now,in this situation...no, I couldn't now"

Alandil purses his lips in a displeased frown, now watching Moredhel with a decided opinion forming in the depths of his dark orbs. He idly brushes his sandy bangs from his brow, shifting his weight in his seat.

Celeborn frowns. "I will ask a more fair question then, Moredhel. Is it your decision to travel with the visitors against the wish of the Lady and Lord?"

Althea holds her breath as she awaits the answer

Tarinalas speaks softly, "Are not the wishes of the Lady and Lord for the happiness of all elves?"

Alandil's eyes narrow, tracking sharply to Tarinalas in a warning glance. "It is as if they say the Lord and Lady have wisdom beyond the younger generations', and should not be questioned so."

Celeborn continues to focus his attention on Moredhel.

Kestrae lets out a soft sigh as she settles back in her chair, her expression growning troubled.

Althea crosses her arms and waits quietly

Alandil leans over towards Kestrae again, and speaks to her in very low tones, behind a subtly, raised hand that muffles his voice further. "Not ... ... ... ... go against ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... it--and ... ... lad--!"

Time passes slowly in the Golden Wood...

Moredhel once again opens his mouth twice before speaking in a cold voice "no, it's not my will's decision...and I'll stay...but surely my heart ... "but now he bites his tongue and stops...maybe just in time

Celeborn nods, satisfied. "Your heart will remain true until the Spring, I presume. Enough of this wordplay then. The will of the Lady has been cleraly expressed. It is time to bid a safe journey to our guests."

Alandil pauses, eyes flickering to Tarinalas, and adds to Kestrae, "... ... ... _question_the_wisdom_ ... ... ... ... ... ... ... is ..." His face flushes a pale and outraged red.

Kestrae frowns at Alandil's words, softly replying to him, "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... are ... reasons ... ... behavior?"

Lairelin slight relief showing on her face that she is no longer the object of discussion, watches Moredhel struggle with Celeborn's queries. A sadness creeps across her face as she wathces him. Both expressions are quickly hidden by a neutral expression.

Celeborn returns to his throne aside the Lady, looking to Tarinalas. "Are all your pereprations for travel complete?"

Althea looks relived at Moredhels words

Galadriel nods to her husband, smiling, feeling a bit relieved at the end of this tense moment.

Alandil seems to consider that, then shakes his head in a tight motion from side to side. "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... here, ... ... ... the ... ... ... It ... ... ... all ... ... own ... ... ..."

Galadriel glances to Lairelin for a moment, reading her expression.

Kestrae listens softly as Alandil speaks, her gaze traveling lazily about the room. She blinks, noticing Airiavas watching them from the corner and nods to him.

Moredhel ,his eyes still burning bright, says "I beg your pardon , lord and lady...but I'd have to bring back some packs...if I'm no longer needed..."

Galadriel nods to dismiss Moredhel.

Althea raises an eyebrow as she overhears some of Alandil's urgernt whispering and thorws him a puzzled look

Galadriel turns to Tarinalas, "Surely you will send a message to King Thranduil of our wishes concerning the Ambassador and her delay?"

Airiavas reddens slightly and nods courteously to Kestrae, his glance then fixing itself on the proceedings once again. He shifts his weight to his other leg, casually crossing one foot over the other.

Moredhel bows to both the rulers and turns swiftly, leaving the room with fast, long steps

MOREDHEL LEAVES THE ROOM DESCENDING THE STEPS TO THE LAWN...AFTER A WHILE HE IS JOINED BY PALANTHOS AND TARINALAS WHO ARE GOING BACK TO THE CAMP TO LEAVE. EHILE PALANTHOS GOES AWAY IMMEDIATLY, TARINALAS STOPS BESIDE MOREDHEL

Tarinalas sighs, "Ahh well. We tried."

Moredhel turns to Tarilanas "well mellon, nevermind...good luck" he goes for Tarilanas hand

Tarinalas shakes Moredhel's hand, "I'll see you next spring. Don't hold your breath, you'll suffocate over the winter. Namarie!"

Moredhel smiles "namarie and might Elbereth and all the elen above watch on youand your travel

Airiavas climbs down the white ladder.

Tarinalas waves one last time before leaving.

Airiavas nods to the two of you as he quickly makes his way down the ladder.
