Chatting at the Field Hospital

Field Hospital
You are in a small clearing cut into the thickets. All about you, the bushes and trees grow thick and unwavering, blocking out most of the sunlight and dimming the atmosphere. Dispite the lack of sunlight or moonlight, the clearing gives of a calm, quiet, secure feeling. Here is where the Cuigrithweg have made their Field Hospital. Several woven mats are laid about on the ground in neat rows and a pair of small chests rest at the north side of the Hospital. High above the mats, a large tarp is strung to provide some shelter on the off chance that it should rain. On the south side of the clearing, a small stream runs by the Hospital. It also serves as the only entrance and exit.

Althea nods "Did you ever catch sight of it?

Terridan nods slowly, "Aye we did... but I believe we lost it during the battle."

Pilfering a waterskin from the hospital's store as she walks over; unstopping it, and drinking deeply; Gillhach greets each of the three in turn; her hand raised, and an amiable smile upon her face; "Greetings, you three," Says she, "How is it that you fare?" The question seems more directed at Terridan than any other.

Althea says, "Were you able to find out why Mithrandir wished to have the creature captured?"

Althea looks over and smiles at Gillhach "Mae govannen mellon"

Terridan shakes his head again, "Nay... we were not..." he looks up towards Gillhach, and smiles, "I am well, cousin."

Tathar says, "What was that creature that you were chasing anyways?"

Gillhach inclines her head to a shallow nod, her widening smile further curling her lips, "Good, good," Says the huntress, "Though I see boredom's set in during your repose... with nothing better to do that to discuss the little wretch, I see?"

Althea chuckles and echoes Tathar'squestion "What was it?"

Terridan sighs heavily, then looks up towards Gillhach, "Do you know, cousin? I got a very good look at it, and I am still at a loss."

Althea sighs "A pity, well if he comes by perhaps we'll get a chance to ask".

Partaking of another sip from the skin, eyes questioning as she lowers the container, touching a hand to her breast, "Me? One full week I hunted the thing, and at a time I had it in my sights... 'twas a truly pitiable little cur, else I might've had it dead afore our unfortunate sojourn." But the huntress bunches her shoulders to a shrug, "I've seen nothing else like it in my time..."

Althea frowns and turns to Gilhach "You hunted it it? Why so?"

"Forsooth," The huntmaster nods, "A merry little chase it led me... all about the egladil; 'twas that alone that had me happen across these guardsmen;" She gestures to the injured folk about, "I should think they'd not take another hunt upon themselves, now..."

Althea glances at Terridan and nods "I'm sure they agree with you. But why did you hunt it?

Tathar says, "Maybe their was no good reason...."

"It interested me..." Gillhach shrugs then, "And is not the master of the hunt allowed her sport?" The huntress' breast heaves with a sigh, "I might have had it dead that once... but it was pitiable indeed. I knew nothing of the humans and their business until I happened 'pon the captain and his party. Or I might've attempted a capture."
