Kathalis, Gillhach and the sleeping Talia

Sacred Grove.
You stand now at the bottom of a low hill. Standing atop the hill are two magnificent trees, both resembling the mellyrn all around you, but each distinctly different. The first is completely silver in color, glowing bark and leaves both. Its twin, likewise, is entirely a golden color, including its shimmering bark. Under the glow of a thousand stars, the silver tree reflects the light in such a way as to illuminate the entire grove with its silver light. The air here is more tranquil than you have ever felt elsewhere. As you enter the grove, it becomes impossible to harbor even the slightest feelings of anger, violence, or hatred as the peace here overwhelms your senses.

Kathalis kneels silently next to Talia's sleeping form, his eyes closed as he holds her left hand lightly, he can be heard, very softly, singing a soft silvery song...

A thick, clinging early morning mist chokes Caras Galadhon, not yet dispelled by the rising of the sun. Cloaked and cowled, enshrouded in that mist a maiden walks, up the stair into the grove, then on towards the elleth's sleeping form, and that of the other sat aside her. Footfalls near inaudible upon the soft grass, the dew gathered there soaks her soft boots as she walks.

Not having heard or seen her approach, Kathalis continues his soft song.

Walking about the sleeping maid, seating herself aside the slumbering elleth, so does Gillhach look to her sibling; Concern apparent in her eyes, and with a frown creasing her brow, reaching out a hand she smooths the hair from her sister's face, and then withdrawing it, she heaves a sigh.

Kathalis softly lets his song trail off and looks slowly up to you, "Hello Gillhach...." he says simple

Offering up a wan little smile at that, blinking, Gillhach inclines her head towards her stricken sister, "She sleeps still?"

Kathalis says softly, "Aye...." he says softly, "And there seems nothing I can do......"A brow raised at that, so does Gillhach shake her head. "One must endeavour to try, brother." So she names him, by his marriage, "You must not forsake her, though it seems that nought can be done."

Kathalis say "Aye...that is why I remain...trying to get myself back undercontrol before I re-enter the dreams..."

Gillhach nods, "That is well," She says, "It is a strange thing that we attempt, rescuing a woman from the confines of her own soul," Her bosom heaves with a sigh, and she shakes her head in a silent lament, "It was foolishness that put her there though, she had not the strength to attempt this thing..."

Kathalis says softly, "That is not the foolish thing mellon, for she had help in it... their choice of location was foolish..." He shakes his head slowly and looks back over to you saying softly, "I can no longer sit idle here though, I must try something...."

"As you would, Kathalis," But she does not look to join him in his endeavour, "I shall not join you yet... it is not my time, and I find her dreams unnerving..." She gestures with a hand, "Go, and look for her then... I shall remain here yet a while, as I may."

Kathalis says softly, "Thank you mellon...I would not wish her to be alone here at all...." as he sits back into a meditative position closing his eyes. He closes his eyes and falls into a deep and quiet meditation.
