Kathalis, Aldarwen and TerridanOranor Sun-Day 42 Ethuil Spring Moon phase: Waxing Crescent Hidden Gil-Estel is not visible. Loa 139 o Yen 21, Nelandran o Endor TA 3019 Rose Garden The night is calm and without moon. The scattered stars that shine upon the sky seem to bathe this garden full of flowers with their cool light. Soft but clear, among a small group of roses, the song of a pair of crickets can be heard. Much more sweet and musical, a female voice fills the place with melody; sitting beside a rough tree, Aldarwen sings with closed eyes, while her long-fingered hands caress a folded cloak that lies upon her lap. The silently form of the Eldar Knight Kathalis slips slowly down out of the Healing Talan, pausing on there steps a soft smiles creeps across his face as he leans lightly over onto the banister, listening to the maidens melody... Terridan walks down the path to the garden slowly, and glances about, smiling softly. As he hears the maiden's voice, he turns to face her, and leans up against a tree, listening quietly. Feeling the power of the eyes that look upon her, the maiden stops her melody and opens her eyes violently at the same time. Her gaze falls on Kathalis, and she seems not to realize presence of Terridan. She bows her head and smiles, but a trembling smile, "Mae Govannen, mellon", she says, her voice still a bit unsure. Kathalis smiles and speaks slowly in a gentle tone, noting the unsure nature of her voice he says softly, , "Mae govennen mellon," standing back strait up he continues, "That was a lovely song, what do you call it." finishing the last few steps before begining to move towards the maiden. Terridan walks towards Aldarwen as well, nodding his head slightly, "Indeed it was lovely, mellon... you've outdone yourself yet again..." Aldarwen blinks a few times before answering Kathalis. She bites her lip and then says, "Well, I don't know, I was just singing what I felt... It doesn't have a title yet, maybe I should call it 'Song for the love that..." At this she hears Terridan's voice, all her body shakes and she turns to look at him with half-open mouth and surprised eyes, her hands clutching the cloak with pressure. "Terridan, " she says in a soft whisper, "you surprised me." Kathalis gazes travels about the garden as he hears Terridan's voice and sees Aldarwens reaction to his arrival, 'Mae govannen mellon.' he nods to terridan before looking back to Aldarwen and smiles reasuringly and says softly to her, perhaps soft enough that terridan could not over hear, "Remember what we spoke of mellon." Terridan nods his head once, "Forgive me, I didn't mean to startle you," he too nods back to Kathalis, and walks up to the pair, "How are you both this day?" The maiden nods silently to Kathalis and she makes her best effort for a broad smile, she stands up gently while Terridan is approaching. Turning to him, she bows her head and says, "It's alright, mellon", the smile upon her lips becoming more sincere she answers, "I'm fine, thank you, the roses in the garden have been a great company". She takes the folded cloak with both her hands and offers it to the Warden, "And, mellon, thanks for the cloak, I don't need it now that I'm feeling better". Kathalis steps slowly back from the two of you fading into the shadows of the garden just watching the two of your interaction. Terridan smiles, taking the cloak back with a nod, "I'm glad to hear that, mellon..." he drapes the cloak over his shoulders again, the volumous robe falling gently into place, "I'm just glad I could be of assistance." Aldarwen nods reassuringly and then breathes in and out deeply. "I heard you participated in a battle, " she starts to say, turning toward the place were Kathalis stood just a moment before. Seeing the Knight has stepped back, she stops in the middle of the center and stares into the shadows with a surprised expression upon her face. She goes on, but her voice has a strange tone now, "you were there, too, weren't you Terridan?" Terridan raises an eyebrow slightly at Kathalis' movements, and turns back towards Aldarwen, "aye... but I was far to the back, I did not take place in any fighting besides a few stray arrows." Nodding slowly to Terridan's words, Aldarwen says, "Oh, I see.", her smile grows shakingly, "but some of the one that fought were much wounded, weren't they?" Terridan nods his head once, "aye... many from the patrol were heavily wounded..." his voice lowers slightly. Aldarwen bites her lip and nods her head silently, her gaze falling to the ground. Terridan sighs softly, then walks up towards Aldarwen a bit, "I must depart now... I will see you later though, mellon... after I return from the borders." Aldarwen nods eagerly and smiles to the guard, "That's alright, mellon. Thanks for paying me this short visit". She bows her head in a polite gesture and then watches him leave. Terridan nods slowly, smiling, "It was my pleasure..." with that, he walks off, disappearing quickly into the woods.
Aldarwen Kathalis
Terridan You see a youthful elven man who stands 6'10", his athletic build moves quietlyand fluidly, making only the slightest of sounds. His deep brown hair is the color of tempered gold and flows loosely around his shoulders, framing his sharp features. On his left ear is a silver earcuff. Around his neck is a silver chain, a slender rope that looks much like liquid silver in the way it moves, hanging from it is a small red stone which shines and glitters, An elven T is carved on to the surface and the rest is polished to a smooth glint. His deep blue eyes have a look of warmth and dedication to them. Drapped over his shoulders is a large grey cloak, a black cowl resting above it. Along the inner line of the cowl, near where it meets the cloak, you can see a thin silver cord. The cloak itself is fastened by a crystal starburstwith a silver cresent set in the center, the symbolof house Dinlom. Slung across his back is an finely crafted elven longbow, and a quiver full of arrows is strapped onto his right hip. Beneath the cloak you can see his torso is covered by coat of shining ringmail, and on his left hip, a finely crafted longsword rests. His forearms are covered by a pair of leather wrist-guards, that extend halfway down his fingers, allowing him a better grip. His legs are covered by a pair of brown leggings, and on the belt there is a heavily padded satchel. On his feet are boots fashioned from a dark brown leather.
